From Merchants (Business Customers):
Business name, registration number, and address
Contact information (name, email, phone number)
Bank account details for settlement purposes
Identity verification documents as required by law
Transaction history and processing data
From Cardholders (End Users):
Name and billing address
Email address and phone number (when provided at checkout)
IP address and browser/device information
Transaction reference data (not raw card data — see Section 3)
Automatically Collected:

3. How Credit Card Data Is Handled
CX Pay does not collect, store, or process raw credit card data.
All payment card information, including card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, and expiry dates, is entered directly into secure, hosted payment fields managed by our certified third-party payment processors. These processors are certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of payment card industry security compliance.
Card data flows directly from the cardholder to the processor’s secure, certified environment and never passes through or is stored on CX Pay’s servers or those of our merchants.
CX Pay only receives a payment token — a non-sensitive reference identifier — which is used to manage and reconcile the transaction on behalf of the merchant.
The collection, processing, and storage of payment card data is governed by the privacy policies and security frameworks of our underlying payment processors, whose infrastructure is independently audited and PCI DSS certified.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Process and facilitate payment transactions
Verify merchant and cardholder identity as required by law
Prevent fraud, money laundering, and unauthorized transactions
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and card network rules (Visa, Mastercard)
Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
Send transactional notifications and service updates
Improve our platform, services, and user experience
Report to financial regulators and card networks where required
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
Certified Payment Processors: To securely facilitate and settle transactions
Acquiring Banks: The merchant’s bank that processes card transactions
Card Networks (Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express): As required under network rules, including the MATCH™ listing
